Domestic gold price is stable, SJC brand stands at 78.5 million VND

Domestic gold prices remained unchanged this morning, August 12, while the central exchange rate decreased by 4 VND.

At 8:45 a.m., Doji Company and Saigon Jewelry Company both announced the buying price at 76.50 million VND/tael and the selling price at 78.50 million VND/tael, unchanged from August 8. However, in the past week, this brand has decreased by about 1.3 million VND per tael.

Similarly, the price of gold rings did not change this morning. Specifically, Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings at 76.35-77.55 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of smooth round gold rings was listed at 76.38-77.58 million VND/tael (buy/sell). Last week, the price of gold rings remained unchanged.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 2,428 USD/ounce, up more than 1.3 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price when converted is equivalent to 74.05 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on August 12 at 24,256 VND/USD, down 4 VND compared to August 10.

With the above change, Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate from 24,940-25,280 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND. BIDV raised the rate by 5 VND, the new price from 24,950-25,290 VND/USD.

However, Vietinbank's buying price is 24,930 VND/USD and selling price is 25,270 VND/USD, remaining stable, and Agribank announced buying and selling prices from 24,980-25,300 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session.
