SJC gold ring and gold bar prices continue to move sideways

Opening this morning, October 14, the price of gold bars remained unchanged, while the exchange rate at commercial banks increased and the central exchange rate decreased by 10 VND.

The price of 999.0 round gold rings at Phu Quy Company is listed from 82.40-83.35 million VND/tael, down 100,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

SJC 999.9 gold ring is flat again, currently this business is trading around 81.60-83 million VND/tael.

On the side of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the enterprise listed the price of plain round gold rings at 82.52-83.42 million VND/tael (buy/sell), also remaining stable.

Meanwhile, the price of SJC gold remained unchanged. Specifically, Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company all announced the buying price of SJC gold at VND82.50 million/tael and the selling price at VND84.50 million/tael.

In the world, the gold price is trading at 2,647 USD/ounce, down 10 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price when converted is equivalent to 80 million VND/tael, cheaper than the domestic SJC brand by about 4.5 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on October 14 at 24,161 VND/USD, down 14 VND compared to October 11.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate from 24,610-25,000 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, BIDV Bank announced from 24,640-25,000 VND/USD, up 21 VND compared to the previous closing price.

Similarly, VietinBank also increased by 10 VND, currently trading around 24,640-25,000 VND/USD.

Eximbank buys at 24,620 VND/USD and sells at 24,980 VND/USD, down 20 VND.
