Nearly 19,000 households in Nam Sach have not yet been granted or renewed their land use right certificates.

According to the results of thematic monitoring by the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Nam Sach district (Hai Duong), as of early July, the entire Nam Sach district had 18,975 households. are eligible for the issuance of new land use right certificates that have not been issued yet. These are mainly households with increased land area compared to the certificates issued many years ago due to differences in measurement methods and land records; households donating land for new rural construction roads. The total number of households that have been granted new land use right certificates is 1,279 (accounting for only 6.3% of the total 20,254 households).

Households that have not yet issued or renewed their land use certificates are mostly due to lack of need. Most only do so when there is a transaction of sale, donation or inheritance. Meanwhile, the administrative procedures for issuing or renewing land use right certificates are still complicated, and the process of land plot measurement is lengthy.

The Standing Committee of the Nam Sach District People's Council requested the District People's Committee to coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to strengthen the direction of the District Land Registration Office Branch to remove obstacles, arrange human resources, equipment and machinery to carry out land plot measurement to meet people's needs, strive to complete the measurement within a maximum of 30 working days; develop specific instructions on receiving, circulating documents, resolving, and returning results of the issuance and exchange of land use right certificates. Strengthen propaganda for people to issue and exchange land use right certificates.
