Nearly 100 players compete for Gia Bao U9 Cup

On the morning of February 16, Gia Bao Company Limited organized the Gia Bao U9 Cup Football Tournament in Truong Thinh urban area (Hai Duong city).

The tournament attracted nearly 100 young players from Cam Giang, Gia Loc, Kim Thanh, Ninh Giang districts, Chi Linh city and Hai Duong city to compete. 6 teams were divided into 3 pairs to compete in a knockout round. The organizing committee will select 3 first-place teams and 1 second-place team with the best results to compete in the semi-finals.

Young players compete on a modern new technology plastic soccer field. The total investment to build this soccer field is nearly 1 billion VND.

The tournament aims to select talented children for the Gia Bao U9 team of Hai Duong and participate in the National U9 Football Tournament in 2025; at the same time, create a fun and healthy playground for the children.

U9 Gia Bao Hai Duong was established in June 2024. This is a children's football team that is not part of the training system of the Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, does not use the budget but is sponsored by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Giang, Director of Gia Bao Company Limited (Hai Duong City). The logistics, accommodation and training of the players are fully sponsored by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Giang.

The semi-finals, finals and awards ceremony took place in the afternoon of the same day.

At the 2024 National U9 Football Tournament, the Gia Bao U9 team brought glory to Hai Duong province when it won the championship cup in its first participation in the tournament.
