Kim Jong Un's sister warns South Korea and the US

In a statement released by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on February 19, Ms. Kim Yo Jong, Deputy Director of the Propaganda and Information Department of the Workers' Party of Korea, said that North Korea's intercontinental ballistic missiles were not aimed at Seoul.

"I repeat for the fools that our intercontinental ballistic missiles will not target Seoul...", Kim Yo Jong's words were quite harsh.

The statement also added that South Korea should not "snoop around about everything" and "put on a brave face".

Kim Yo Jong, the North Korean leader's sister, also noted: "South Korea had better think about the troubles it might bring upon itself."

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's sister also issued a "final warning" to Seoul and Washington: "We are watching every move of the enemy and will strongly respond to any hostile actions."

She said the US's claim that it is not hostile to North Korea is false. She advised Washington to abandon actions that threaten the security of North Korea. According to her, the US should act rationally because it is beneficial to "its own security."

She called on the international community to stop US tyranny. Mr. Kim's sister also accused the US of "trying to turn the UN Security Council into a tool to implement its hostile policy toward North Korea".

In addition, according to Ms. Kim Yo Jong, the US and its "satellites" are trying to deprive a sovereign nation of the right to self-defense.

She accused South Korea and the United States of constantly threatening “day and night” about extended deterrence and expressing their desire to dominate the Korean peninsula militarily. This undermines stability and escalates the situation in the region.
