As of March 18, the Hai Duong City Dynamic Urban Development Project has achieved about 80% of the workload.
According to the Management Board of the Hai Duong City Dynamic Urban Development Project, as of March 18, this project had completed about 80% of the work volume, basically meeting the signed schedule.
This project has 9 construction packages, the contractor has completed 2 packages HD-PW-01 (completing infrastructure of Nguyen Luong Bang Street and Thanh Binh Street) and HD-PW-02 (T1 canal embankment) and put them into use to effectively prevent flooding in the western area of the city; the remaining 7 construction packages are being implemented simultaneously.
Of the 7 construction packages under construction, package HD-PW-04 (construction of the drainage system north of the railway and equipment) is still facing problems with site clearance and design. This package is at risk of being behind schedule compared to the completion schedule of June 30, 2025.
The Hai Duong City Dynamic Urban Development Project has a total investment of about 1,800 billion VND from World Bank loans and the province's counterpart capital. The project is implemented in 14 wards of Hai Duong City, with the implementation period from 2018 to June 30, 2025.
This project consists of two components: construction and upgrading of urban technical infrastructure; technical support, implementation support. In which, the construction and upgrading of technical infrastructure component will renovate and complete the technical infrastructure system on Nguyen Luong Bang and Thanh Binh streets; renovate the stormwater drainage system to prevent flooding; build a wastewater collection and treatment system for the western area of the city.
