On the morning of December 2, the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to let comrade Nguyen Van Thuong cease to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and cease to participate in the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, term XVII, 2020 - 2025; transfer and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Tu Ky District Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025, from December 2, 2024.
In his speech assigning tasks, the Provincial Party Secretary said that Hai Duong is actively and seriously implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; the Politburo's conclusion on Resolution 18-NQ/TW on continuing to innovate, streamline the political system's apparatus, operate effectively and efficiently, and prepare personnel for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thuong, born in 1976 in Quang Thanh commune, Kinh Mon town. He has a degree in economic engineering and a high level of political theory.
Comrade Nguyen Van Thuong used to hold the positions of Member of the Inspection Committee of Chi Linh City Party Committee; Member of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Professional - General Department, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Along with comrade Nguyen Van Thuong, at the conference announcing the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work on the morning of December 2, 3 comrades were transferred and appointed.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Sam, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Tu Ky District Party Committee was transferred and appointed to the position of Provincial Inspector.
