On the morning of April 5, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented the 75-year Party membership badge to party member Bui Quang Hien (born in 1928) in Vinh Ninh village, Thanh Cuong commune (Thanh Ha).

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee kindly asked about Mr. Hien's health and living conditions and thanked him for his great contributions to the process of building and defending the Fatherland. He hoped that his family, local Party Committee and authorities would pay attention to his health so that he could live happily and healthily, and be a shining example for his children and grandchildren and the younger generation to follow; and encouraged Mr. Hien to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition to further motivate his children and grandchildren to practice, contribute, and contribute with the local Party Committee and authorities to build an increasingly innovative homeland.

Mr. Hien was admitted to the Party on September 15, 1946, and was the first Party member of Thanh Cuong commune. From a young age, he actively participated in the militia and guerrillas, then volunteered to join the army, and graduated from Military Region 4. During his revolutionary activities, Mr. Hien participated in the resistance wars against France and the US, making many contributions to building and defending the Fatherland. Before retiring in 1973, Mr. Hien worked at the Vietnam Military Academy with the rank of captain. Mr. Hien was awarded the First Class Anti-American Resistance Medal by the State; the Second Class Anti-French Resistance Medal and many other certificates of merit.


The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee grasped the thoughts and aspirations of households that have not agreed to the compensation plan for site clearance to build the road leading to Quang Thanh bridge.

After presenting the Party badge to Mr. Hien, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the leaders of Thanh Ha district inspected the construction progress of the Quang Thanh bridge approach road, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of those who did not agree with the compensation plan. He directed Thanh Ha district to closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches to have reasonable and flexible solutions, suitable to the situation of each family to ensure the construction progress, completed at the same time as Quang Thanh bridge (expected to be inaugurated in early May).
