Comrade Hoang Dinh Giong is a senior political and military officer of the first generation of the Vietnamese Party and Army.
From a young intellectual ethnic man with a passionate love for his country, he came to the communist ideal and followed the path of national independence revolution associated with socialism chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.
Comrade Hoang Dinh Giong died at the age of 43 but had more than 20 years of continuous activities and contributions to the Party and the revolution.
He was a typical son of the ethnic people of the revolutionary homeland of Cao Bang, who fought steadfastly, devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation and the noble communist ideal, and was a shining example for future generations to learn from and follow.
Comrade Hoang Dinh Giong was born on June 1, 1904, 120 years ago.
