Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang briefly informed about the results of the 8th Central Conference, 13th term.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference. Comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended the conference.

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of the Provincial Public Security, Military, and Agencies Party Committees; members of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Steering Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, unions, press and media agencies; and provincial reporters attended the conference.

The conference was broadcast live to the District Party Committees, Town Party Committees, and City Party Committees in Hai Duong province.

Delegates listened to Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang inform and convey important contents of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, and at the same time connect practical matters, linking the contents of the conference with the specific situation in Hai Duong province.

In the process of linking the contents of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee with the reality of Hai Duong, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive results Hai Duong achieved in the first 9 months of 2023, while frankly pointing out a number of limitations and assessing the difficulties and challenges of the province in the coming time.

In the orientation of key tasks and solutions from now until the end of the year, the Provincial Party Secretary noted that Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province need to focus highly and perform well the tasks of attracting investment, speeding up the disbursement of public investment capital, continuing to remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business projects... so that Hai Duong can achieve the growth target of over 9% for the whole year of 2023. This is a very important goal of the province to continue to increase budget revenue, create jobs, improve the material and spiritual life of the people and have more resources for investment and development, ensuring social security.

Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested that delegates attending the conference need to grasp the spirit and contents of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee to organize information, thoroughly grasp, and seriously and effectively implement.

From October 2-8, 2023, in Hanoi, the 8th Conference of the Party Central Committee discussed and gave opinions on important contents: Socio-economic situation, State budget in 2023, plan for 2024 and 3-year State financial-budget plan 2024-2026 and roadmap for implementing the new salary regime; Summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW, dated June 10, 2012 of the 11th Party Central Committee on a number of social policy issues for the 2012-2020 period; Summarizing 20 years of implementing Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW, dated March 12, 2002 of the 9th Party Central Committee on promoting the strength of great national unity for a rich people, a strong country, a fair, democratic and civilized society; Summary of 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW, dated August 6, 2008 of the 10th Party Central Committee on building a contingent of intellectuals in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country; Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2013 of the 11th Party Central Committee on the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation.
The 8th Central Conference unanimously decided to establish 5 sub-committees to prepare for the 14th National Party Congress; consider and decide on a number of issues regarding personnel work and a number of other important contents.
