Suot Temple in Thanh Binh Ward (Hai Duong City) has degraded, the yard is flooded when it rains, and needs repair.
Some wooden pillars, rafters, and wooden structures in the sanctuary have been eaten by termites, the base of the pillars must be joined together, and the main door leading to the sanctuary leans forward. The row of pillars in the front hall has been tilted and seriously degraded. The ceremonial house is temporarily built, with a corrugated iron roof that does not match the overall site of the relic. Inside, many walls have cracked plaster and are covered with moss. The relic's floor is paved with unsuitable enameled cement tiles...
Due to urbanization and raised roads, the relic is lower than the surrounding area, causing flooding when it rains, affecting the construction.
Suot Temple worships Vu Huu Dai Vuong, who made great contributions to the construction and protection of the country during the Le Dynasty. In 1993, the relic was ranked as a national historical and architectural relic. In 2020, the Suot Temple - Communal House Festival was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage. In 2021, the relic was recognized by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province as a tourist destination of the province.
