Proposal to reclaim land to implement 60 projects and works in Hai Duong

On the afternoon of September 26, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council worked with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the list of records and documents of projects requesting approval of land recovery and permission to change the purpose of using rice-growing land to implement additional projects and works in 2023 in the province to prepare for the 17th session (special session) of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, term 2021 - 2026.

According to the report of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the department proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider and submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval to reclaim about 72 hectares of land to implement 60 projects and works in the province and request permission to change the purpose of use of 56.16 hectares of rice-growing land to implement 35 projects and works in the province.

At the meeting, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed and clarified the records, bases and documents related to the projects requesting approval of land recovery and permission to change the purpose of rice land use. The Economic - Budget Committee basically agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council to recover land to implement projects and works approved by the People's Council and newly registered projects and works that are eligible for land recovery and eligible for changing the purpose of rice land use.
