Land in Hanoi suburbs wins auction for over 74 million VND per square meter

The auction of 34 plots of land with a total area of ​​3,100 m2 at the project in Can Huu and Sai Son communes, Quoc Oai district was held on April 25. The starting price for the lowest plot was 24.8 million VND per m2, the highest plot was 52.8 million VND per m2.

According to the District Information Portal, 150 customers registered 242 applications to participate in the auction. This ratio is equivalent to each plot of land having more than 4 interested customers.

At the end of the auction, all 34 plots of land were successfully sold. Of which, the highest bidder was 74.1 million VND per square meter, an increase of 21 million compared to the starting price. This plot of land is located at plot A8, auction project number 8, Khanh Tan village, Sai Son commune.

Thus, the unit price of the land in this district, nearly 30 km from the center of Hanoi, is equal to or higher than the unit price of some high-end apartment projects currently open for sale in the Nam Tu Liem district area.

Thanks to favorable market developments, early next month, districts on the outskirts of Hanoi will also hold many land auctions. Hoai Duc, Chuong My, and Phuc Tho districts will auction nearly 100 plots of land, with the highest starting price of 75.4 million VND per square meter. These are plots of land measuring 77 square meters and 88 square meters in Gac Cho area, Tam Hiep commune, Phuc Tho district.

Recently, land auctions in Hanoi have attracted great attention from investors. At the end of February, 33 plots of land in Thuy Lam commune, Dong Anh district were successfully auctioned, including a lot that was double the starting price at over 60 million VND per square meter. Or at the end of March, Me Minh district also successfully auctioned 30 plots of land, including a lot that reached over 50 million VND per square meter, nearly double the starting price.
