The National Assembly Party Delegation and the Government Party Committee met on the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Politburo members: Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Secretary of the National Assembly Party Delegation, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue co-chaired the conference.

Presenting a report at the conference, Party Central Committee member, Secretary General of the National Assembly, and Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong said that the 6th Session is a mid-term session, the National Assembly will carry out a very large amount of work, many important contents, high requirements on quality and progress, contributing to ensuring the basic completion of the tasks of the 15th term.

Immediately after the 5th Session, the National Assembly Party Delegation and the Government Party Committee led and directed the agencies of the National Assembly and the Government very resolutely and closely, coordinating with relevant agencies and organizations to urgently prepare the highest quality content to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision.

Regarding some contents that the National Assembly Standing Committee found not to be qualified to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 6th Session, Mr. Bui Van Cuong requested the National Assembly Party Delegation and the Government Party Personnel Committee to consider and direct agencies to continue researching and preparing to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the nearest session.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thanked the National Assembly Party Delegation for preparing early and remotely in accordance with the direction of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue right after the end of the 5th Session. One day after the end of the 5th Session of the National Assembly, the Government held a meeting to assign tasks to prepare contents under its authority to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 6th Session. Government agencies have closely and effectively coordinated with National Assembly agencies. Many tasks of the Government have been carried out more smoothly, in both executive work and implementation of socio-economic, security and defense tasks.

In the coming time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that the two sides will continue to coordinate closely to prepare unprepared contents to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the nearest session.

Concluding the conference, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue thanked and agreed with the opinions of the conference delegates and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The 6th session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to have a huge amount of work, both in terms of legislation, supervision and decision on important national issues, including the mid-term vote of confidence and interpellation. Voters and people nationwide have high expectations and trust in the success of this session, as in previous sessions.

To ensure the success of the session and the completion of all the contents of the proposed program with the highest quality, the National Assembly Chairman requested that agencies continue to coordinate well in the preparation work to ensure the quality of the contents, issues, and draft laws expected to be submitted to the National Assembly at this session, including very difficult and complicated draft laws.

Regarding major and important issues that still have different opinions and options, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the relevant agencies need to carefully prepare the explanation content, clarify the advantages and disadvantages of each option so that National Assembly deputies can discuss and give opinions, ensuring the quality of legislative work at the session.
