General Phan Van Giang offers incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

On the morning of September 1, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), a delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense led by General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Minister of National Defense, offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and planted a memorial tree at the K9 - Da Chong Relic Site, Ba Vi District, Hanoi City.

Offering incense and flowers to express respect and infinite gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions, dedication and sacrifice to the Party's revolutionary cause, the delegation reported to Uncle Ho the results in performing tasks in the first 6 months of 2023.

Notably, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and Party committees and commanders at all levels have led and directed the entire army to unite, proactively overcome difficulties, and comprehensively complete tasks, with many tasks being completed well.

Notably, it is necessary to proactively research, correctly assess the situation, advise and propose to the Party and State to effectively handle situations, avoid being passive or surprised, firmly protect the territorial sovereignty of the Fatherland; promptly draw lessons, direct the adjustment of training content and methods, education and training, combat plans and build political and spiritual factors in the Army.

With the results and achievements in the first 6 months of 2023, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense promise to Uncle Ho to continue to focus on leadership and direction in military and defense work; in which, continue to build a strong Army Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; the Army is strong in politics; focus on leading and directing the implementation of key tasks until the end of the 13th Party Congress term, resolutions and conclusions on military and defense tasks, protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
