The super luxury Rolls-Royce of a Thanh Hoa tycoon has a rolling price of more than 60 billion VND. The owner also attached a license plate worth 105 million VND.
The first Rolls-Royce to arrive in Vietnam was the 7th generation Phantom, which arrived in our country in 2007. Since then, the number of this model imported through private and official units has reached dozens. The 8th generation (VIII), although the selling price is up to 60 billion VND after tax, has been bought by 3 Vietnamese tycoons.
Recently, a Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII appeared in Hanoi with a Thanh Hoa province license plate, surprising car enthusiasts. According to the reporter's investigation, the car is owned by a multi-industry tycoon in Thanh Hoa. The estimated value of the car is over 60 billion VND. Notably, the owner also attached an auction license plate worth 105 million VND.
Initially, the car was imported to Vietnam through an official distributor at the request of a Saigon tycoon who owned many Rolls-Royces. However, for some reason, this person did not license plate the car and resold it. The car first appeared with a Thanh Hoa province license plate in the middle of this year.
Unlike other Phantom VIIIs in Vietnam that are usually black, this car is more special because the owner chose a dark blue exterior paint color. The coachline of the car extends from the hood to the rear of the car, with a prominent orange color. This is also an option that is rarely chosen by Vietnamese tycoons when buying a Phantom VIII.
The car is equipped with shiny chrome-plated multi-spoke rims, 22 inches in size on both wheels. This option is chosen by many Vietnamese tycoons for the Phantom VIII, creating a unique feature of this car line in the 8th generation. The company logo on the rim cover is always in a standing state, which also makes Rolls-Royce special.
The interior of this Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII uses the main Mandarin orange color, combined with black to increase luxury. Many materials are used such as high-quality leather, wood, and metal. Behind the steering wheel is a mechanical and digital multi-information screen. In the center of the dashboard is a 12.3-inch entertainment screen that can be opened/closed with a button.
Being an extended wheelbase (EWB) variant with a wheelbase of up to 3,772 mm, the rear seat space of the car is very spacious. Two independent seats are separated by a fixed armrest, integrated with the Spirit of Ecstasy control cluster, cup holder, wine bottle holder and refrigerator. The seats have calf support cushions, come with multi-directional electric adjustment, seat memory, massage and heating/cooling functions.
The car is equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, 6.75 liters capacity, producing a maximum capacity of 563 horsepower and maximum torque of 900 Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to that, the car can still accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds despite the car weighing more than 2 tons. Maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h.
In addition to the above luxury car, Thanh Hoa province has another tycoon who owns a Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII Tranquility - a limited edition of 25 cars worldwide, using 24K gold and aerospace materials for interior decoration.
