Paishing Vietnam Joint Stock Company was fined 294 million VND for discharging wastewater exceeding technical standards.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province has decided to fine Paishing Vietnam Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Trang Due Industrial Park, Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone, Hong Phong Commune, An Duong District, Hai Phong City) VND 294 million for environmental violations.

On April 9, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment conducted an inspection and discovered that the wastewater discharged from the company's branch production facility (at No. 2 Industrial Cluster, Road 20A, Vinh Hong Commune, Binh Giang) had 3 parameters exceeding the technical standards for waste with a wastewater flow of less than 20 m³/day (24 hours). Specifically, Coliform exceeded 480 times, NH4 + -N exceeded 2.91 times and BOD5 exceeded 1.93 times the technical standards for waste.
