The National Assembly Standing Committee announced the personnel of vice chairmen, full-time members and part-time members of the National Assembly's committees, including the newly upgraded Committee for Delegation Affairs, the Committee for People's Aspirations and the Supervisory Committee.
On the afternoon of February 21, the National Assembly Standing Committee held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work. Accordingly, the Standing Committee issued resolutions approving deputy chairmen and members who are full-time delegates and part-time members of the National Assembly's committees.
There are 4 new committees consolidated from the arrangement and consolidation of several committees and 2 new committees upgraded from 2 committees of the Standing Committee.
Specifically, the Committee on Law and Justice There are 10 Vice Chairmen including Mr./Ms. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen Truong Giang, Do Duc Hong Ha, Mai Thi Phuong Hoa, Hoang Van Lien, Tran Hong Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong, Ngo Trung Thanh, Nguyen Phuong Thuy, Nguyen Thi Thuy. This committee has 9 full-time delegates and 54 part-time delegates.
Committee on Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs There are 5 Vice Chairmen: Nguyen Minh Duc, Nguyen Hai Hung, Don Tuan Phong, Do Quang Thanh, Nguyen Manh Tien.
The Commission also has nine full-time members and 43 part-time members.
Economic and Financial Committee There are 9 Vice Chairmen: Le Quang Manh (standing), Nguyen Ngoc Bao, Nguyen Van Chi, Pham Thuy Chinh, Nguyen Thi Phu Ha, Vu Thi Luu Mai, Doan Thi Thanh Mai, Nguyen Minh Son, Nguyen Huu Toan.
The committee has 11 full-time members and 53 part-time members.
Committee on Culture and Society There are 10 Vice Chairmen including Mr./Ms. Lam Van Doan, Ta Van Ha, Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa, Trieu The Hung, Do Thi Lan, Pham Viet Luong, Nguyen Hoang Mai, Dang Thuan Phong, Dinh Cong Sy, Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy. This committee has 11 full-time delegates and 69 part-time delegates.
The Delegation Work Committee has 3 Vice Chairmen including Mr./Ms. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Ta Thi Yen, Nguyen Dai Thang.
The Committee also has 2 full-time delegates and 12 part-time delegates.
Committee on People's Aspirations and Supervision There are 4 Vice Chairmen including: Le Thi Nga (permanent), Hoang Cong Anh, Tran Thi Nhi Ha, Lo Viet Phuong.
The Committee has 1 full-time delegate and 18 part-time delegates.
Also at the ceremony, the National Assembly Office announced the decision to transfer the status quo of civil servants of departments and units directly advising and assisting the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees, and the Boards under the National Assembly Standing Committee on departments under the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees.
Do not let "bottlenecks" occur right in the legislative body
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh emphasized that at the recent 9th extraordinary session, delegates passed many important resolutions related to the organization of the National Assembly agencies.
He acknowledged the determination and efforts of agencies and units in recent times, which have profound political significance.
Up to now, the organization and arrangement of the National Assembly agencies and the National Assembly Office have been basically completed.
"This is the important basis and premise to continue to successfully complete the arrangement and streamlining of the political system's apparatus in the coming time, ensuring quality, efficiency and on schedule as set out," the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated.
He requested agencies to urgently deploy work according to the new model and new organization, especially the merged committees, with increased functions and tasks.
"The newly upgraded committee must inherit the tasks and performance results of the previous agencies, without interruption, stagnation, or omission of work, and must improve the quality and efficiency of all aspects of work," said the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
Noting that new problems may arise during the implementation process, he suggested that agencies coordinate closely, promptly advise and handle any problems that arise. In particular, do not let "bottlenecks" occur within the legislative body.
In addition, he requested that all activities of each agency must always be closely linked to the interests of the people and the sustainable development of the country; focusing on controlling power, preventing corruption, waste, and negativity in law-making work.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also noted the development of a plan to summarize the term of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee, the agencies of the National Assembly, and the Office of the 15th National Assembly. Deploying preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Previously, the National Assembly elected the Chairmen of 6 committees: Mr. Phan Van Mai as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee; Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung as Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee; Mr. Le Tan Toi as Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh as Chairman of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai as Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee; Mr. Duong Thanh Binh as Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee.
