1,000 employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment resign

On the morning of March 12, the Department of Personnel Organization, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment announced the above figures as of March 6.

Of these, 596 people retired early (195 civil servants, 315 public employees and 86 workers), 121 people quit their jobs (19 civil servants, 92 public employees and 10 workers).

Among the resignations were one head of department, six deputy heads, one union president, 65 department heads, 111 deputy department heads and equivalents. The Ministry has resolved the resignation requests according to Decree 178 for three cases.

The leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that in the coming time, the ministry will continue to streamline its apparatus. Party committees, Party organizations, and assigned agencies and units must do a good job of ideological work for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; and properly handle policies for cases of early retirement or resignation.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment was merged from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Previously, the two ministries had a total of 55 units, now there are 30 units, including 26 administrative units. After the merger, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has 2,890 civil servants and 12,203 public employees.
