From March 1, four tasks and procedures related to serving the people, including: Issuing criminal records; testing and issuing road motor vehicle driving licenses; state management of drug addiction treatment and post-treatment; state management of network information safety and security, have been officially transferred from relevant departments and branches to the police force.

With the spirit of “running while lining up”, in recent times, the Provincial Police have streamlined their organizational structure and coordinated smoothly with relevant departments and branches in handing over and receiving new tasks. As soon as the policy of transferring 4 tasks from departments and branches was announced, the forces under the Provincial Police proactively coordinated to review records, documents, equipment, funding, personnel, and prepared facilities and staff to ensure more effective implementation than before.

Lieutenant Colonel Dang Xuan Hoan, Head of the Hai Duong Province Drug Rehabilitation Center, said: "Immediately after receiving the handover, we stabilized the organization, personnel, and logistics... Initially, there were some difficulties because this is a completely new field for the police force, but we have made efforts to overcome them so that the rehabilitation center's operations can run normally, without interruption, and students can rest assured during treatment."

Mr. Ngo Doan Xuan, a student at the Hai Duong Province Drug Rehabilitation Center who has been treated here for 20 months, said that after learning that the provincial police force had taken over the facility, he was confident in continuing the remaining treatment course to soon reintegrate into the community.

Training on software skills to issue criminal records and issue and renew driving licenses was also carried out promptly and thoughtfully. Officers and soldiers assigned tasks quickly processed and continued to perfect the interconnected system, creating the most convenience for the people.

The provincial police are continuing to advise the Ministry of Public Security to study and optimize the processes related to these four groups of tasks to best serve the people, focusing on digitalization, contributing to saving time and travel costs for people.

On the afternoon of March 4, many people were present at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center to complete procedures for issuing criminal records. Monk Thich Thanh Vinh at Xuan Kieu Pagoda, Duc Chinh Commune (Cam Giang) came to complete the procedures and said that despite the large number of people, they did not have to wait long. The procedures were quickly processed by the staff.

Major Dang Thi Ngoc Ha, an officer of the Professional Records Department in charge of issuing criminal records at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, shared that thanks to intensive training and each officer directly performing the task diligently studying and understanding relevant legal documents, they overcame initial difficulties. "Currently, the force has basically met the requirements of the task and is striving to perform more effectively than in the previous period," said Ms. Ha.

Due to close coordination in receiving and handing over the task of state management of network information security and safety from the Department of Information and Communications, and at the same time carefully preparing facilities and technical infrastructure, since March 1, officers and soldiers of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of the Provincial Police have performed their duties without interruption or interruption of work.

Increased functions and tasks mean increased workload and pressure.

To operate smoothly, in accordance with regulations, professional procedures and effectively, officers and soldiers, especially those directly performing the tasks, have made efforts and responsibilities right from the first day of taking on new tasks, striving to improve the quality and efficiency of serving the people.
