A small audience member in the Hai Phong fan area was burned by a flare.

During the match between Hanoi FC and Hai Phong FC in round 4 of phase 2 of V.League 2023, flares were set off three times in the stands of Hai Phong fans. The match organizers had to increase security to ensure the safety of the match.

However, in the situation where Hai Phong FC scored an equalizer 1-1 from Huu Son's 11m penalty kick, flares and fireworks appeared in the stands of Hai Phong fans. The sparks that were released burned a child.

The child was quickly taken to the emergency room by his family and the Organizing Committee. Fortunately, the injury was not too serious.

Security forces have to work hard.

Certainly, before the above incident, Hai Phong Club and Hanoi Club (match organizers) will face heavy penalties from VFF for allowing fans to set off fireworks and throw strange objects onto the field.

Some people even threw their slippers on the ground.

The V.League Organizing Committee regularly has propaganda posts, reminding spectators coming to the stadium to watch the match not to light flares, or to use insulting words towards the Organizing Committee, as well as the referees and players. However, this situation still occurs frequently.

Previously, Hanoi FC was also fined 25 million VND for allowing spectators to throw many water bottles onto the field and use vulgar language to insult and offend the referee in the match against Nam Dinh - round 3 of V.League 2023.
