On August 31, a leader of Thanh Oai District Police (Hanoi) said that the unit is temporarily detaining a male suspect to clarify the act of murder.
According to this leader, previously, on August 30, in Lien Chau area, Thanh Oai, an incident occurred where a husband used a knife to cut his wife's neck, seriously injuring her.
Upon receiving the news, Thanh Oai District Police coordinated with local police and authorities to arrive at the scene to control and arrest the suspect, and take the victim to the emergency room.
“The suspect was arrested immediately after committing the crime to investigate the murder. The victim was taken to the hospital and is out of danger, and his health is gradually stabilizing,” said a leader of Thanh Oai District Police.
According to the leader of Thanh Oai District Police, during the investigation, the police initially determined that the cause of the crime may have stemmed from conflicts in marital life.
The case is under investigation and clarification.
