On the afternoon of June 1, nearly 21,000 candidates in Hai Duong will take the first test - English in the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in the 2024-2025 school year. At 8:00 a.m. on June 1, the examination councils held meetings on exam supervision, regulations, and inspection of facilities and exam service conditions.
From 1:30 p.m., candidates will complete the exam registration procedures in the exam room, correct any errors (if any) and listen to the announcement of the exam regulations and schedule. Candidates will take the 60-minute English exam. At 3:25 p.m., candidates will receive the exam papers, and at 3:30 p.m., the exam time will be calculated.
Preparations at the examination councils are ready. The province has about 30,400 grade 9 students. 28,859 students registered to take the exam and apply for grade 10 at public high schools, non-public high schools, and facilities implementing the high school continuing education program. Of these, nearly 20,924 students registered to take the exam at public high schools, accounting for nearly 69% of grade 9 students.
The Hai Duong Department of Education and Training has arranged 42 examination councils with nearly 800 examination rooms. More than 2,800 invigilators, supervisors, police, medical staff, service staff and security guards are on duty at the examination councils.
On June 2, in the morning, candidates continued to take the literature exam, and in the afternoon, they took the final exam - math.
On the afternoon of June 1, Hai Duong Newspaper Fanpage will livestream the exam atmosphere and chat with candidates and teachers after the English exam ends.The livestream is expected to take place at around 4:30 p.m. at the exam site of Nguyen Van Cu High School (Hai Duong City) - the place with the largest number of candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam in Hai Duong province.
On the afternoon of June 2, Hai Duong Newspaper Fanpage will livestream at around 4:00 p.m. at Kinh Mon High School exam site, after the math exam - the last exam - ends.
