On the afternoon of May 31, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the preparations for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in Hai Duong City.
Inspecting at the examination council of Nguyen Van Cu High School, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung highly appreciated the proactive work of the education and training sector, the active coordination of the locality and related units.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the examination council and related units to closely follow the province's directions and the guidance of the Department of Education and Training to continue to effectively implement the tasks; ensure safety, security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, food safety and hygiene; have effective solutions to prevent the use of high technology to cheat in the exam. Focus on medical prevention, generators to ensure service for exam sites and other arising situations.
Comrade Luong Van Viet, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong, said that preparations were being carried out synchronously at all examination councils and all conditions for the exam were ready.
Areas for storing exam papers and papers; exam rooms; systems of tables, chairs, lighting, fans, air conditioners; medical and service departments; security and safety work at the exam site have been deployed to ensure the exam is organized safely, seriously, objectively, fairly, and in accordance with regulations. The Department of Education and Training established 4 mobile inspection teams to inspect exams in 12 district-level localities from June 1-3.
According to the plan, the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in Hai Duong will take place from June 1-3. Nearly 21,000 candidates have registered to take the exam. The province has 42 examination councils in 12 district-level localities with a total of 797 examination rooms. 2,830 invigilators, supervisors, police, medical staff, service staff and security guards on duty at the examination councils are ready.
On the afternoon of June 1, candidates took the English exam. On June 2, the morning exam was literature, and the afternoon exam was math. On June 3, candidates took specialized subjects for Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.
