Universities announce dormitory fees for 2024-2025 academic year

July 30,Ton Duc Thang Universityannounced the admission of students to Tan Phong dormitory in the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, students have 2 options to pay fees: pay for 5 months or pay for 10 months. Fees will be calculated in addition to the application fee and deposit (to ensure the preservation of assets and equipment).

Dormitories at the school have monthly rental fees ranging from 250,000 to 3.4 million VND/month. Some types of rooms cost over 1 million VND, including 4-bed dormitory rooms (1.7 million VND/month) and 2-bed rooms (3.4 million VND/month).

If students choose to add parking service, they need to pay a fee of 40,000-80,000 VND/month, depending on the type of vehicle, and must pay 5 months/time.

Previously, on July 29,Ho Chi Minh City University of EconomicsNotice of dormitory registration for new students enrolling in 2024. Currently, the school has 3 dormitories located in District 1, District 5 (Ho Chi Minh City) and Vinh Long branch (Vinh Long City).

Dormitory room types at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics include 6-seat, 8-seat, 9-seat, 10-seat, and 12-seat rooms, with fees ranging from VND 300,000 to VND 1,150,000/month/student.

According to the announcement ofDormitory Management Center (Ho Chi Minh City National University), in the 2024-2025 school year, student accommodation prices range from VND 205,000/month to VND 1.5 million/month.

Specifically, 205,000 VND/month is the price for a room for 8 students, a room for 6 students is 275,000 VND/month/student. A service room for 4 students and a service room for 2 students are priced at 800,000 VND/month and 1,575,000 VND/month respectively.

Students note that the payment for the above room types does not include electricity, water and other services.

If choosing additional services such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, students can refer to the service price list for the 2023-2024 school year in advance, specifically as follows:

Meanwhile, atUniversity of Transport (Ho Chi Minh City branch), dormitory fees in the 2024-2025 school year range from 180,000 VND/month to 2.6 million VND/month.

Specifically, the dormitory price in row D72 is 180,000 VND/month/place, row D60 is 200,000 VND/month/place. Meanwhile, in row D62 (service room), the cost is 2.6 million VND/month/room.

Boarding fees for other room types are regulated by the school as follows and will be applied from August 21, 2024.

University of Education (University of Danang)has also announced dormitory fees for the 2024-2025 school year. In addition to the fees ranging from 150,000-960,000 VND/month/student, students need to pay an additional 100,000 VND in property mortgage fees.

The dormitory rooms at the school are divided into 8-seat, 6-seat, 4-seat, high-quality 4-seat rooms and 2-3-seat guest rooms. In which, high-quality 4-seat rooms/room cost 960,000 VND/student/month, including cleaning fee of 10,000 VND/student.

This room has bunk beds, personal wardrobes, tables and chairs, refrigerator, air conditioner, ceiling fan, washing machine, water heater, blankets, sheets, pillows, mattresses, private bathroom, Wi-Fi service (if needed) and is only for international students under a cooperation agreement.

Room rental prices at the school are listed as follows:

Saigon University of Technologydormitory fee is 350,000 VND/month/student. This fee does not include electricity, students will pay according to monthly meter bill.

When registering for dormitory, students need to prepare documents including registration form, commitment, photo ID, 3x4 photo, policy certificate (if any).
