My cousin came to visit and took more than 190 million VND from his relatives in Chi Linh.

On July 25, 2024, Chi Minh Ward Police received a crime report via the VNeID application from Mr. Mac Van Su (born in 1967, residing in Nhan Hung residential area, Chi Minh Ward, Chi Linh City) about his family being robbed of 190.6 million VND.

Chi Minh Ward Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Team and Chi Linh City Police to urgently investigate. On the same afternoon, the police force clarified that the subject who committed the act of stealing property from Mr. Su's family was NTTH.

H. is the cousin of Mr. Su and his wife. H. has no job. On the morning of July 20, H. went to Mr. Su's house to visit and stayed for lunch. While at Mr. Su's house, H. discovered that the family's money cabinet was unlocked, so he became greedy. Taking advantage of the moment when Mr. Su and his wife were not paying attention, H. opened the cabinet and stole a plastic bag containing 190.6 million VND. On the way home, passing through a field in Thanh Trung residential area, Chi Minh ward, H. threw the plastic bag in the corner of the field and brought the money home to hide.

At noon on July 25, Mr. Su and his wife opened the cabinet to check and discovered it was missing.

Receiving back the large amount of money they had saved for a long time, Mr. Su and his wife sent a letter of thanks to the Director of the Provincial Police, the leaders of the Chi Linh City Police and the officers and soldiers of the Chi Minh Ward Police for finding the culprit in a short time and helping the couple get back the lost money.
