Ngan Thong glass bridge in Da Lat opens to welcome visitors

On August 19, the Ngan Thong Glass Bridge (TTC Love Valley Tourist Area, Da Lat City, Lam Dong) officially opened to visitors after more than 4 years of construction. This is the first glass bridge in the Central Highlands and the Southern region.

The Ngan Thong glass bridge is a suspension bridge with a total length of 325m, a bridge width of 3m, a bridge surface made of 5-layer tempered glass, nearly 4cm thick with high safety and applying 7D technology with special effects.

In particular, the two piers of the Ngan Thong Glass Bridge are located between Mong Mo Hill and Love Valley (two different tourist destinations before being merged into one as they are today).

The entire length of the bridge will be suspended over the pine forest at a height of about 90m above the ground. Thereby, visitors will have a real experience with a panoramic view of the center of Da Lat and the view towards Langbiang mountain - the symbol of the mountain town.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Pham S, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee affirmed that glass-bottomed bridges are a popular tourism product in the world. However, before that, Vietnam only had 3 projects concentrated in the northern mountainous region.

Ngan Thong Glass Bridge in the Valley of Love is the only glass bridge in the Central Highlands and the South, and will be a new tourism product for visitors to Da Lat.

With this special product, the management unit needs to increase communication and promotion while organizing operations to ensure absolute safety for visitors, and research additional accompanying services to increase attraction and serve the needs of visitors.

According to the operator of Ngan Thong Glass Bridge, the project can welcome about 200 visitors at the same time.

Visiting time is not limited, however, visitors must ensure distance, only going one way from Dream Hill to Love Valley.

The operator advises visitors with heart problems or fear of heights not to risk it. At the same time, the unit arranges staff to support visitors with health problems while visiting this glass bridge.

The entrance fee to Ngan Thong Glass Bridge is 400,000 VND. Visitors can choose a combo of 600,000 VND/ticket (including entrance ticket to visit the entire Love Valley Tourist Area and Ngan Thong Glass Bridge) or 700,000 VND/ticket (including entrance ticket, visit to the glass bridge and a buffet in the restaurant of the Tourist Area).
