Rolls-Royce has just launched a luxury car called Arcadia Droptail, which was ordered by a super-rich customer. With a price tag of up to 25 million pounds, this is considered the most expensive car in the world.

The name Arcadia is taken from the mythical land described in Greek mythology, famous for its magical natural beauty. Arcadia Droptail combines simplicity of detail, depth of material and wonderful inlay art.

While the exterior of the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail celebrates the car’s shape, the interior reflects the customer’s personal aesthetic taste, with a focus on luxurious wood. The color palette and materials within the Arcadia Droptail’s interior instantly highlight the owner’s personal style.

Structurally, the car's clock face is considered the most complex in Rolls-Royce history, taking 5 months to assemble and 2 years of additional development. The wood inlays on the car to withstand the weather also took 8,000 hours to make. Other wooden details also play a central role in the Arcadia Droptail's interior and are extremely favored by customers.

The owner had very specific requirements, focusing on the texture, grain, color and richness of the wood materials.

Using the entire outer grille surround, the turbine blades and 22-inch alloy wheels have been given a polished finish.

In addition, the car also has a twin-turbocharged V12 engine, 6.6 liter capacity, 593 horsepower - almost equal to the Lamborghini Huracan supercar, linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission to help push the car from rest to 100 km/h in about 5 seconds.

Carbon fiber is used for the lower sections of the rear end, but instead of being exposed, they are painted a bespoke silver to contrast with the white and add a luxurious feel.

The Arcadia comes just six months after the last Rolls-Royce Droptail was unveiled to the public, the 'La Rose Noire', which debuted in August 2023.
