On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the leaders of Cam Giang district visited and presented gifts to 86 elderly people, exemplary policy families, and poor households in especially difficult circumstances.
The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council and People's Committee of Cam Giang District have just organized 3 delegations to directly visit and present gifts to 13 typical cases. Including: 4 people who are 100 years old, 6 typical war invalids and martyrs' families, 3 extremely poor households in the area.
The remaining 51 cases are war invalids, sick soldiers, policy families and 22 elderly people who are 100 years old will be directly visited and given gifts by members of the district Party Committee and leaders of communes and towns.
This year, the total value of money and gifts that the district has given to the elderly, outstanding policy families and poor households in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet At Ty is 53.9 million VND, taken from social security sources and from the district's "For the Poor" Fund. Of which, 57 gifts are given to meritorious people, 26 gifts are given to centenarians, and 3 gifts are given to the poor; the highest value is 1,500,000 VND/gift, the lowest is 300,000 VND/gift.
