Farmers' Association at all levels in Cam Giang helps 54 households escape poverty

Thanks to land accumulation, many farmers in Duc Chinh commune invest in applying science and technology in production.

This result is mainly due to the positive impact of the emulation movement for good production and business launched and supported by the Farmers' Association at all levels. Over the past 2 years, the district has had 12,895 good production and business households at all levels, reaching over 55% of the total number of registered households.

Farmers' Associations at all levels in the district have15 professional farmer associations and groups were established; 18 models of associated groups and groups.Coordinated the organization of 10 training courses on livestock and crop farming techniquesorganizing production, business, agricultural economy... for 9,210 members. Associations at all levels actively coordinated to provide fertilizers on credit; provided credit guarantees for over 3,000 households to borrow over 123 billion VND to develop family economy. Farmers' Associations at the grassroots level actively mobilized farmers to produce agriculture on abandoned land, thereby forming many land accumulation models, from 1-2 hectares to over 50 hectares.

Since the beginning of March, all 17 communes and towns of Cam Giang district have completed the grassroots Farmers' Association Congress for the 2023-2028 term. The district Farmers' Association has reviewed and evaluated the results of the grassroots congress to prepare well for the district-level congress in May.
