Regarding the incident of a teacher being locked up, insulted, and having her slippers thrown at her by students, the Ministry of Education and Training has just issued instructions to verify and clarify.

According to the directive, after clarifying the incident of the teacher being locked up and insulted by students, there must be strict handling according to the level of violation against the individuals and groups involved: teachers, students, educational institutions, leaders of educational institutions, district education management units and other related individuals and units.
The Ministry of Education and Training also requested the Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training to draw profound lessons from the incident. At the same time, it should focus on strengthening the management and evaluation of teachers, building a team of teachers, strengthening school discipline, building school culture, educating students on ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.
The Ministry also requires regular inspection and supervision of implementation in educational institutions. Close coordination with students' families and relevant agencies and organizations in managing and educating students.
Previously, clips circulated on social media showed teacher Phan Thi H. (38 years old), who teaches music at Van Phu Secondary School (Son Duong), chasing students in a classroom with sandals.
In another clip, a group of students threw paper and slippers at the teacher, insulted her, and closed the classroom door so she couldn’t leave. When a slipper hit her head, the teacher fainted. The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on November 29.
Immediately after receiving the information, the District People's Committee requested relevant units to verify and resolve the incident. On November 30, the Department of Education and Training, the District Police and relevant agencies worked and requested Van Phu Secondary School to hold a review meeting to clarify the responsibilities of teachers and students, and propose handling measures.

This school also organized a meeting for all teachers and parents of students in grades 7C and 6A to propagate to parents to cooperate with the school in educating students' ethics, to prevent the above incident from happening again.
On December 1 and 2, Van Phu Secondary School held a meeting and asked teachers and students involved to write a report on the incident.
