The image and name of Uncle Ho's Army is a very unique phenomenon in the history of armed struggle of the Vietnamese people in general and Vietnamese military culture in particular.
There are few nations in the world where the people name their army after their supreme leader. This is both the sentiment and the trust that the masses have for the armed forces.
There is hardly any nation where the image of the soldier is considered by the entire people as a model of a person in the new era, to wholeheartedly trust, respect, and encourage all future generations to follow the shining example of Uncle Ho's soldiers like the Vietnamese people.
