Day August 27, Hai Duong Province Rowing Championship 2023 ended after nearly 1 day of competition at Bach Dang Lake (Hai Duong City).

This year's tournament attracted 250 rowers from 5 groups: Hai Duong City, Chi Linh City, Gia Loc, Binh Giang and Kim Thanh districts.

Athletes compete in five events: women's 1,000 m, men's 1,000 m, medley 1,000 m, women's 500 m, men's 500 m and medley 500 m.

As a result, Binh Giang team won 4 out of 6 events: men's 1,000m row, 1,000m medley, men's 500m row and 500m medley. The women's 1,000m row and women's 500m row both belonged to Gia Loc 1 team.

The Hai Duong Provincial Rowing Championship was held again after a 2-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. At the rowing tournament within the program of the 9th Hai Duong Provincial Sports Festival in 2022, the Gia Loc team won 4 out of 6 sets of medals. This year, the district rowing team gathered early and trained for a long time at Bach Dang Lake.
