Vinh Phuc Party Secretary Duong Van An proposed for disciplinary action

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline Mr. Duong Van An, Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of January 8, the Central Inspection Commission issued a communiqué at its 53rd session (January 6-8), stating that after reviewing the report on the results of the review and proposing disciplinary action against Mr. Duong Van An, the inspection agency found that during his tenure as Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, he had committed a number of violations.

These are violations of Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violations of regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and local government, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.

Therefore, the Central Inspection Committee recommends that competent authorities consider and discipline Mr. Duong Van An.

Former Director of Binh Duong Police Department was warned

At this session, the Central Inspection Committee concluded that Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province; Le O Pich, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province; Ly Vinh Quang, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity, and violating regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.

Mr. Tuan's violations were assessed as causing "serious" consequences, while Mr. Pich and Quang's violations caused "very serious" consequences, to the point of requiring disciplinary action.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Party Secretary, Director of Binh Duong Provincial Police; Vo Thanh Duc, former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Binh Duong Provincial Police violated the principle of democratic centralism, working regulations; violated Party regulations, State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in the fight against crime; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and the Police sector, to the extent that disciplinary action is required.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hieu, Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and the diplomatic sector, to the point of requiring disciplinary action.

Therefore, the Central Inspection Committee warned Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Mr. Vo Thanh Duc, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hieu; reprimanded Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan; and requested competent authorities to consider and discipline Mr. Le O Pich and Mr. Ly Vinh Quang.
