Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang offers incense at historical revolutionary relic sites in Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang

During the journey to Cao Bang province, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang and the provincial delegation offered incense at special national historical sites in Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense at the memorial house of President Ho Chi Minh on the top of De Pass, the special national historical site of Dinh Hoa Safe Zone (Thai Nguyen).

On the morning of December 6, the Hai Duong Provincial Delegation began a trip to the place where the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army was founded and organized gratitude activities in Cao Bang Province. This is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).

The delegation was led by comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending were a number of members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

This morning, December 6, the provincial delegation visited the national historical sites of special safety zone Dinh Hoa (ATK) in Dinh Hoa district (Thai Nguyen) and Tan Trao in Son Duong district (Tuyen Quang).

At the Dinh Hoa National Special Historical Site, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House on the top of Deo Pass.

Next, the delegation offered incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap and other generals of the Vietnam People's Army at the historical site of Pu Don hill (also known as Phong Tuong hill) in Tin Keo hamlet, Phu Dinh commune.

The delegation also visited the Safe Zone Exhibition House and Tin Keo hut - the place President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Central Committee chose as the center of the revolutionary base.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation offered incense and flowers at Tan Trao communal house, Na Nua hut relic, and the memorial area for revolutionary predecessors in Tan Trao special national historical relic site (Tuyen Quang).

In a solemn atmosphere, the leaders of Hai Duong province and delegates observed a minute of silence to express their deep gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the nation; revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs.

Strengthening the close relationship between Hai Duong and Cao Bang provinces

That same evening, the Hai Duong Provincial Delegation arrived in Cao Bang Province and had a working session with the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.
Comrade Tran Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province welcomed the Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and the delegation.
At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang gave an overview of the province's socio-economic development in recent times.
He emphasized that the two provinces of Hai Duong and Cao Bang are geographically distant but have a close relationship, supporting and helping each other in socio-economic development.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the relationship between Hai Duong and Cao Bang provinces will have new developments and become increasingly closer.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Le thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong province for their affection towards Cao Bang province.
Hai Duong has had many activities to support Cao Bang province, including overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee assessed that the working trip to the source of the Hai Duong Provincial Delegation will certainly enrich and deepen the activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army in the province.
On December 7, the Hai Duong Provincial Working Group continued to conduct source-return activities in Cao Bang Province.
