Ms. Nguyen Thi Long, in Do Trung village, Cao An commune, Cam Giang district (Hai Duong) has just brought a letter to thank Cao An commune police for urgently finding her grandson, the boy Nguyen Duc HH.

At 8:00 a.m. on January 23, Ms. Long took Nguyen Duc HH (3 years old) to Cao An Commune Kindergarten but did not hand him over to the teacher. When she returned, instead of going to class, the boy turned back to the school gate and went out to play.

At 10am the same day, when discovering that her child was not in class, Mrs. Long and her family rushed to look for him but could not find him and then reported to the Cao An Commune Police. Considering the seriousness of the incident, the police force checked the camera system and made an urgent announcement on the commune police's Facebook page and Zalo groups in villages and residential areas.

At around 2:00 p.m. the same day, Cao An Commune Police informed the family that they had found Nguyen Duc HH playing at a resident's house in Dao Xa Village (also in Cao An Commune). The police took the child to the headquarters to complete the procedures to hand him over to his family in a healthy condition.

Cam Giang District Police also advise people to be careful in managing and looking after children, always keeping an eye on them, especially during the upcoming spring festival. When adults take children to kindergarten, they must hand them over to the teacher and sign for them (if there is a child handover book). At the same time, children must be regularly taught to be aware of the dangers of going alone, not to follow strangers, and not to accept food or drink from strangers.

When children are absent from school, they must notify the teacher. In particular, kindergarten teachers need to take full attendance records. When discovering that children are absent from class, they must immediately discuss with families to avoid the situation of children leaving or being forgotten on the school bus. When the school or family discovers that children are absent from class, they must immediately report to the police instead of organizing a search.
