Previously, on August 31, Loc Phuc Company organized an event to open a "trading floor", transporting dozens of customers from other places to a "ghost project" in An Vien commune, Trang Bom district (Dong Nai).

Upon receiving the news, Major General Nguyen Sy Quang, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police, directed the destruction of this property fraud organization.

Immediately, hundreds of police officers from Dong Nai Province Police Department divided into many working groups, raided and arrested Nguyen Van An and 185 related people, including 122 employees, 20 people hired to pretend to be customers competing to buy the project and 43 customers who were victims, all were invited to the headquarters for questioning.

At the same time, another task force coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to raid the headquarters of Loc Phuc Company, seizing 50 boxes of documents, many computers, electronic devices, more than 2.4 billion VND, 18 thousand Japanese Yen; 3.5 thousand USD; 24.3 taels of gold; 7 cars to serve the investigation.

Employees confessed that in June 2022, the company started organizing a number of projects in Dong Nai province. To lure customers, the company recruited about 100 students to work part-time, do internships, and work as subordinates, then instructed them to go to social networking sites to find beautiful houses in Ho Chi Minh City, take pictures, and post them on the company's website and Cho Tot to introduce them for sale.

Many people who want to buy houses in Ho Chi Minh City have contacted Loc Phuc Company. Then, this company arranged to meet at a location and took the customers on a 52-seat bus to Dong Nai. At this time, the bus was arranged with "extras" who were unemployed and elderly people hired to pretend to be "bait" to attract and entice customers to participate.

Many documents and papers of Loc Phuc Company were sealed.

When arriving at the project, dozens of employees will surround and introduce products with values many times higher than the actual value of the land, continuously pressuring customers to make deposits and psychologically impacting customers, making them confused and having no other choice.

After the customer has made a deposit, the company's staff will take the customer to a notary office in a "remote" location. Later, if the customer has any complaints or denunciations, the staff who directly deals with them will cancel the junk SIM and block communication.

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Nhat Hong Phuc, Head of the Criminal Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police, Head of the Investigation Committee, said that through initial investigation, it was discovered that this company earned about 20 billion VND per month. In addition to fraud, this company also showed signs of other crimes, which are being clarified by the investigation agency.
