Caught a Maybach S 600 Pullman worth 70 billion similar to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet's car

The Pullman version of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is usually reserved for tycoons or heads of state, so the price of this car is not cheap, about 10 times more expensive than the standard S-Class version. The bulletproof Pullman Guard version even costs more than 1.5 million USD (about 38 billion VND).

Despite its high price, there are currently two Vietnamese tycoons who own the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman and three other tycoons who own the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Pullman. Notably, one of the two S 600 Pullmans is owned by tycoon Trinh Van Quyet, former Chairman of FLC Group.

The remaining S 600 Pullman is the one in the article, which was purchased by a Saigon tycoon in early 2018. This is also the first S 600 Pullman to arrive in Vietnam and has a white exterior, completely different from the black color of the four S-Class Pullmans of Vietnamese tycoons that arrived in the country later.

Compared to the regular version, the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman is more special in size. Specifically, the length × width × height of the car is 6,499 × 1,899 × 1,598 mm, respectively, the wheelbase is up to 4,418 mm. Thus, the wheelbase of the car is 1.3 m longer than the S-Class with extended wheelbase.

The car's design is basically not much different, from the Multibeam-LED headlights and LED taillights with soft lines like the W222 generation. Many exterior details are plated with shiny chrome to create accents and increase the luxury of the car.

The car uses a set of 20-inch multi-spoke rims, with a design typical of the S-Class Maybach line. This rim set is similar to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet's S 600 Pullman.

Thanks to the extended wheelbase, the interior of the S-Class Pullman is also much more spacious and comfortable. The rear compartment is separated from the cockpit, including two main seats for the boss and two opposite seats that can be folded. Each seat comes with an entertainment screen, massage/heating/cooling functions.

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 530 horsepower and a maximum torque of 830 Nm. This super luxury car weighs up to 3.5 tons but can still accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h.

At the time of its arrival in Vietnam, the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman was rumored to be worth no less than VND 20 billion. However, due to its diplomatic license plate, the car enjoyed tax incentives. According to a unit that imported the S 650 Pullman model, if full tax was paid, a similar car would cost up to VND 70 billion.
