Storm No. 7 is currently moving in a West-Northwest direction over the eastern sea of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the storm's center is level 14, gusting to level 17.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. this morning, November 9, the center of storm No. 7 (storm Yinxing) was located at about 18.7 degrees North latitude, 115.5 degrees East longitude, in the eastern sea of the North East Sea, about 480km northeast of the Hoang Sa archipelago.
The storm is moving in a West Northwest direction at a speed of about 15km/h. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 14, gusting to level 17.
In the next 24 - 72 hours, the storm will move in a West Northwest direction, then turn Southwest and gradually weaken into a tropical depression.
From the next 72 to 96 hours, the tropical depression continues to move in the southwest direction, traveling about 10km per hour, and its intensity continues to weaken.
Due to the impact of storm No. 7, the North East Sea area has strong winds of level 8-11, near the storm's eye level 12-14, gusting to level 17, waves 4-6m high, near the eye 7-9m; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
