Those who do not have the conditions will raise pigs, raise chickens, and grow vegetables to provide food for tourists.

Lo Lo Chai village, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province

Lo Lo Chai village is about 1.5 km from Lung Cu flagpole, a place that still preserves many traditional cultural features through the Lo Lo people's many-generation rammed earth houses. In early 2022, Lo Lo Chai was recognized as a Cultural Tourism Village. Over the past two years, the government and people have gradually worked together to make tourism more professional and effective. The number of tourists coming to the village is increasing day by day.

In the village, the houses still retain the Lo Lo people's architecture, which is a rammed earth house with three-sided walls, and a gate and fence made of hand-laid stones. To make it suitable for tourism, the households have renovated and added a closed toilet facility, convenient for tourists to eat, stay, and live without affecting the exterior and overall architecture.

Tan Hoa village, Minh Hoa commune, Quang Binh province

Tan Hoa was honored by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) as the "World's Best Tourist Village" in 2023. Villagers had to evacuate to caves and cliffs for shelter.
