Concluding the meeting of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations, Mr. Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, suggested that in the coming time, the Steering Committee study new regulations in the Law on Implementation of Grassroots Democracy to implement and bring the law into practice. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations should strengthen supervision of the implementation of tasks by authorities at all levels and protect the rights of the people. Work with modest results needs to be addressed, specifically directed and urged to improve efficiency.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee has increased the organization of conferences to collect opinions and expanded the collection of people's opinions.

Regarding the implementation of village and residential area covenants and labor agreements, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu noted the need to review, guide and direct to ensure compliance with legal regulations, protect the rights and interests of all parties in harmony and legitimacy.

Speaking at the closing meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu assessed that the religious situation in the province compared to some other localities is basically stable.

Comrade Cao Ngoc Quang, Provincial Party Committee member, Chief Inspector of Hai Duong province discussed the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu emphasized the need to increase the organization of seminars, exchanges and discussions on religious issues for management staff at all levels, and consolidate the management apparatus with high initiative and deep expertise to better perform religious work in Hai Duong. Regarding the granting of land use right certificates, expansion and construction of religious facilities, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee needs to consider and verify. Leaders of Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs speak at conference on religious work

According to the assessment of the 2 Steering Committees, since the beginning of the year, all levels and sectors have basically complied with the regulations on organizing meetings and dialogues with citizens before making decisions to resolve complaints. All districts, towns and cities have developed plans for external meetings between leaders of Party committees and authorities and local people. By June 30, 5 districts, towns and cities had organized 8 meetings and dialogues. Regarding religious work, activities have been more vibrant with the scale and number of participants in religious ceremonies increasing compared to the same period in 2022. However, there are still petitions related to religion in the province; some land and construction violations related to religion have not been prevented in time.
