[Audio] Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang inspects site clearance for 220kV power line project in Cam Giang district

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, inspected the situation in Cam Hung commune (Cam Giang).

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Van Phu, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Quang Binh, Director of the Provincial Police Department and leaders of several departments, branches and Cam Giang district also attended.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, spoke at the inspection of site clearance for the 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Line - 500kV Pho Noi Station project through Cam Giang district.

After inspecting the site and listening to reports from leaders of departments, branches and localities, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang requested Cam Giang district to coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the investment unit to continue reviewing the compensation and support plan for site clearance. Before March 10, relevant departments, branches and localities must complete the site clearance plan for each household in accordance with regulations; at the same time, propose support plans within the province's authority to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and direction. Local Party committees and authorities focus on doing a good job of mass mobilization and propaganda so that people agree with the approved site clearance plan and support the continued construction of the project...

Leaders of Cam Giang district reported at the meeting

The 220kV Hai Duong Thermal Power Line - 500kV Pho Noi Station project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation. The 55.38km long line includes 184 pole locations passing through Kinh Mon town and Kim Thanh, Thanh Ha, Gia Loc, Cam Giang districts and Hai Duong city. Currently, the construction work has been completed in Kinh Mon, Kim Thanh, Thanh Ha towns. The remaining 3 localities are having problems with site clearance. In Cam Giang district, site clearance is still stuck in relation to 19 households in Cam Hung commune because the households have not agreed with the compensation and support plan.
