On the morning of February 13, at the Dong Xu Cultural Center Square, Hai Duong City held the 2025 Military Service Handover Ceremony. Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang attended and encouraged young people to join the army.
Comrades: Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee; Colonel Nguyen Minh Tam, Deputy Head of Logistics - Engineering of Military Region 3; Colonel Vu Hong Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council; Le Dinh Long, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong City Party Committee attended the military enlistment ceremony.
In 2025, Hai Duong City will have 220 young people enlisting in military units and participating in police service, an increase of 2 targets compared to 2024.
Among the young people who joined the army, 60 people wrote volunteer applications, 45 excellent young people attended a Party awareness training class and 4 were Party members. There were 30 young people with university or college degrees, the rest had high school degrees.
New recruits from Hai Duong City enlisted in the following units: Brigade 203 (12th Corps), Division 363 (Air Defense - Air Force), Brigade 490 (Artillery Corps), Brigade 144 (General Staff), Provincial Military Command and several other units of the army and police.
To ensure the quantity and quality of new recruits, the Hai Duong City Military Service Council has focused on leading and directing military and police agencies to coordinate with departments, branches, organizations, and localities to effectively implement the steps in the military recruitment process, ensuring strictness, fairness, openness, and transparency from the grassroots level. 100% of new recruits joining the army in 2025 in Hai Duong City meet the prescribed criteria.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Kien praised the young men for seriously complying with the call-up order, ensuring the number of soldiers and the time specified on the military enlistment day. He asked the new soldiers to continue promoting the traditions of previous generations, the revolutionary traditions of the heroic homeland, to strive to study, train, and complete all assigned tasks...
Representing the young men leaving for military service, Mr. Tran Manh Quy promised to strive to cultivate, train, study, and excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State, Army, Police, and people.
