Hospital leaders said the cold weather in recent days has caused a sharp increase in the number of elderly patients with respiratory diseases. Many elderly people are complacent and have not paid attention to doctors' recommendations. On average, the hospital receives 150 patients a day, 60 of whom are hospitalized.
