Every time Tet comes, spring comes, people meet, socialize, and wish each other good things. Because of that, the demand for travel increases, alcohol is used a lot... leading to many cases where the fun ends before Tet is over.

Below are 5 things to absolutely avoid to have a safe, happy, and healthy Tet.

1. Avoid losing control of your emotions because of alcohol

The number of traffic accidents during Tet often increases, especially near Tet and the first days of spring.

Many people cannot control their emotions, cannot control themselves, leading to indulging in alcohol and causing public disorder, fighting or participating in traffic accidents. These are very sad stories in the spring.

2. Avoid getting caught up in gambling

Gambling activities are also likely to occur at the beginning of the year when people have the mentality that "January is the month of fun" and entertainment during festivals sometimes takes the form of illegal gambling activities...

3. Avoid using fireworks incorrectly

There are many cases of improper use of fireworks causing accidents or buying firecrackers and explosive fireworks for illegal use, leading to fines and even criminal prosecution due to the large number of fireworks weighing 6kg or more.

Decree 137 of the Government allows people to buy fireworks produced by competent authorities in Vietnam and strictly prohibits the production, trade, transportation and use of firecrackers and explosive fireworks.

Therefore, the use of fireworks must comply with the provisions of the law. Illegal use of fireworks can lead to accidents, fires, and even criminal prosecution during Tet holidays.

The act of setting off fireworks in public places that disrupt social order and safety may be subject to administrative penalties or criminal prosecution for disturbing public order.

Using fireworks to shoot at others can also be prosecuted for intentionally causing injury or disturbing public order.
