5 subjects in Thanh Ha received prison sentences for drugs

On the morning of July 12, Thanh Ha District People's Court held a mobile trial of four criminal cases on the crimes of buying, selling, storing, and organizing the illegal use of drugs.

The court sentenced Mac Duc Long (born in 2002 in Thanh Xa commune) to 24 months in prison; Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1990 in Hong Lac commune) to 14 months in prison; Nguyen Dinh Thanh (born in 1990) to 27 months in prison, Dang Thi Bich Lien (born in 1982) to 7 years and 6 months in prison, and Hoang Van Thang (born in 1979, also in Tan Viet commune) to 7 years in prison.

According to the indictment, because they knew each other, at about 9:00 p.m. on May 6, Tran Van Hiep (born in 1994 in Thanh Khe commune) brought a set of drug paraphernalia to Mac Duc Long's house to play. Hiep asked Long to use crystal meth, and Long agreed. At about 9:15 p.m. the same day, he was caught red-handed by the police.

At around 1:10 p.m. on April 17, at his home, Nguyen Dinh Thanh illegally sold 0.024 grams of drugs to Nguyen Trong Linh for 300,000 VND and was discovered hiding 0.184 grams of drugs to sell.

Between 7:00 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on January 13, at their home, Dang Thi Bich Lien and Hoang Van Thang prepared a location and tools to illegally supply synthetic drugs to Nguyen Trac Xuyen, Hoang Van Giang, Nguyen Dang Diep, Bui Tuan Hiep, and Nguyen Bui Tu (all living in Tan Viet commune) for illegal use, but were discovered during an inspection. In this case, Dang Thi Bich Lien was the initiator and active perpetrator of the crime, so she played the main role. Hoang Van Thang was the perpetrator.

At 3:15 p.m. on February 26, in the area of ​​Xuan An village road, Thanh Khe commune, Nguyen Van Thanh was discovered and arrested while illegally hiding 0.215 grams of drugs for use.
