For 4 consecutive years, Thanh Dong University has granted full scholarships to students with special difficulties.

This program has been implemented by the school since 2021 to help students with special difficulties have the opportunity to study at university. From 2021-2023, the school has granted full scholarships to about 100 students with special difficulties.

The scholarship recipients are high school graduates who meet the requirements to be admitted to Thanh Dong University and are in the following cases: children of war invalids, martyrs, families with revolutionary contributions; orphans of both parents; orphans of either parent but in difficult family circumstances; poor or extremely difficult households in areas of natural disasters; parents with serious illnesses, extremely difficult family circumstances; disabled candidates; candidates living in extremely difficult areas according to Government regulations.

The school exempts all tuition fees and dormitory accommodation for students throughout the course. Students can use the school's facilities for free. In particular, students will study under an application-oriented program, helping them to work immediately at businesses after graduation (without retraining) or to be able to start their own businesses. The school commits to 100% of students having jobs with a starting income of at least 1.5 times higher than the State's regulations.
