Buying, selling and organizing illegal use of drugs, 4 defendants received a total of 167 months in prison.

On the morning of August 23, the People's Court of Kim Thanh district tried defendants Nguyen Van Thuong (born in 1993) for organizing illegal use of drugs and defendants Le Van Thinh (born in 1974), Pham Van Tuan (born in 1983, all in Kim Lien commune, Kim Thanh), Hoang Duc Viet (born in 1992, in Kim Son village, Le Thien commune, An Duong district, Hai Phong city) for illegal drug trafficking.
At around 1 p.m. on April 28, Nguyen Van Thuong called Le Van Thinh to buy 500,000 VND worth of crystal methamphetamine. Since he did not have any drugs on hand, Thinh called Pham Van Tuan to buy 400,000 VND worth of drugs. At that time, Tuan was at Hoang Duc Viet's house, so he told Viet to sell drugs to Thinh.
At 1:30 p.m. the same day, Viet gave Thinh a bag of methamphetamine. Thinh then brought the drugs to Thuong (in Phuong Tan village, Kim Lien commune). Thuong provided drugs and tools for Thuong, Thinh and Trinh Duc Hoang (born in 1992, in Thanh Lien village, Cong Hoa commune, Kim Thanh) to use. At 2:40 p.m. the same day, the group was caught red-handed by the Kim Thanh District Police and Kim Lien Commune Police, and evidence was seized.
The jury sentenced defendant Thuong to 7 years and 3 months in prison, Thinh to 30 months in prison, Viet to 27 months in prison, and Tuan to 26 months in prison.
Trinh Duc Hoang was administratively punished by Kim Thanh District Police for illegal use of drugs.
