3 young men and 1 teenage girl were jailed for organizing group drug use in a rented room in Chi Linh.

At about 9:00 p.m. on March 23, 2024, Nguyen Hoang Anh (born in 2004 in Tan Dan ward) called and invited Pham Van Ket (born in 1994, residing in Van Duc ward, Chi Linh city) to go to Mat Son lake to drink water.

After that, Hoang Anh and Nguyen Van Hung (born in 2006 in Van Duc ward) went to Mat Son lake area and met Ket. All three of them sat down to drink water. A while later, Hoang Anh told Hung to go to Thien Duong karaoke bar to pick up Nguyen Thi Khanh L. (born in 2007, residing in Tan Quang commune, Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang) to drink water. About 5 minutes later, Hung and Khanh L. returned to Hoang Anh and Ket to sit down to drink water.

While the four were drinking, Ket invited everyone to pool money to buy drugs and take them to Hoang Anh's rented room to use. Hearing that, Hoang Anh replied, "I don't play," while Khanh L. said, "Let me see later because I'm a bit drunk today." After that, Hung drove Khanh L. to Hoang Anh's rented room in Loi Dong residential area, Cong Hoa ward, Chi Linh city. Hoang Anh and Ket sat there for about 10 minutes before going back to the rented room together.

When he returned to his rented room, Hoang Anh texted Nguyen Danh Nhan (born in 2001, residing in Dinh Ke ward, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang) to come to his rented room to contribute money to buy drugs. A while later, Nhan came to Hoang Anh's rented room. When he arrived, Nhan gave Hoang Anh 250,000 VND, Khanh L. contributed 150,000 VND to buy drugs together. Ket felt it was not enough so he told Khanh L. to add another 200,000 VND. At that time, Hung was taking a shower so he did not know that everyone was discussing buying drugs to use. Having collected 600,000 VND, Ket went to buy drugs and told Hoang Anh to pick up another friend to use.

Previously, Ket had sent this friend a sock containing a drug kit and a bag of drugs that Ket bought in Bac Ninh province. Ket did not tell his friend what was inside the sock. When they met, Ket's friend gave Hoang Anh a sock. Holding the sock, Hoang Anh knew that inside the sock there was a glass bead used to use crystal meth and put it away. At the same time, Hoang Anh asked, "Aren't you going down?", Ket's friend replied, "No, just go home."

Back in the rented room, Hoang Anh put the sock on the blanket near where Ket and Nhan were lying, then went out to the yard to sit. Seeing the hook open, Nhan took a nearby water bottle, took off his clothes and put it back together, at the same time took the bag of drugs in the sock, poured it all into the hook, and used it.

After that, Ket and Khanh L. took turns using drugs. At dawn the next day, Chi Linh City Police came to inspect, discovered and confiscated drug-using tools and items such as water bottles, glass jars, plastic bags containing drugs, plastic pipes...

The subjects Ket, Hoang Anh, Nhan and Khanh L. were aware and knew that organizing the illegal use of drugs was a violation of the law, but for the purpose of satisfying their own needs and those of their accomplices, they committed the crime.

Recently, the People's Court of Chi Linh City brought the above case to trial. Based on documents, evidence, and the nature of each defendant's crime, the court sentenced: Cong to 9 years and 5 months in prison, Hoang Anh to 8 years and 4 months in prison, Nhan to 8 years and 2 months in prison, Khanh L. to 4 years and 8 months in prison, all for the crime of organizing illegal use of drugs.

The above sentences are too high a price that these teenagers have to pay for being trendy and liking strange feelings.
