The couple leading the ring... brought in more than 7,000 people

The initial investigation determined that the subjects' trick was to disguise themselves as consulting companies, exaggerating the treatment effects of functional foods and cosmetics to trick patients into buying treatment packages with values ​​many times higher than the real value of the products.

The ringleaders of this ring are the couple Tran Thi Thu Phuong (born in 1996) and Nguyen Manh Truong (born in 1992), residing in Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan Trung ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.

Phuong and Truong established NTA Group Company Limited (located in Thanh Xuan Trung Ward). During its operation, Tran Thi Thu Phuong continuously established branch companies in many provinces and cities in the country with business registrations for trading in functional foods. However, the subjects operated in the form of fraud to appropriate customers' money.

With a pre-written script, employees of these companies will impersonate doctors or employees of health care centers, skin pigmentation treatment, diabetes, bone and joint, liver, hair, stomach... to call to inquire about the health condition of customers and then offer to buy treatment courses using NTA Company's products. The treatment packages are boxes of functional foods and cosmetics that have absolutely no effect on treating diseases.

The Investigation Police Agency of Nam Dinh Provincial Police has inspected and screened a total of 11,979 successfully transacted order codes, related to 7,402 customers (victims) in 63 provinces and cities across the country.
